We are the first Neuroaesthetics Laboratory in Romania, set up at the University of Suceava in 2019. Here, we study the neurophysiological mechanisms involved in the creation and perception of art. Our research mainly employs quantitative science methods, but we acknowledge that it would not be possible to study art without integrating the wisdom and insight provided by qualitative humanities research.
